Ensuring the imparting of Knowledge and Resources without any Discrimination

Despite the country's progress, still today there are many people, especially those or rural sectors who are being discriminated against on the basis of knowledge and resources. Both the knowledge and resources should be distributed equally irrespective of the rich or poor. Low income or minorities can learn just as well as other students. Discrimination of knowledgde is one of the major factor leading to poverty.

Divine Play School contributes in many ways to the promotion and protection of the rights of people belonging to rural sections of the society. We aim to avoid discrimination specially because of their racial, ethnic or socio-economic backgrounds.


The contributions of Divine Play School towards Rural section of societies include:

  • We aim to protect their ethnic, cultural, religious and linguistic identity.
  • Individuals belonging to rural areas have the right to participate effectively in decisions related to their villages to which they belong or the regions in which they live.
  • Take measures to create favourable conditions to enable persons belonging to minorities to express their characteristics
  • Help them to develop their culture, language, religion, traditions and customs.
  • Promote and protect all human rights for all people of rural areas.
  • Play an active role in removing obstacles to the realization of their rights and preventing the continuation of human rights violations.
  • Ensuring that specific attention is paid to the situation of rural groups in all monitoring activities.
  • Identifying challenges to the realization of human rights by rural people in local contexts and working towards finding solutions.
  • Identifying and addressing gaps in the protection of rights to knowledge and resources to which minorities are entitled.
  • Working with the media LotusTowerTV towards more inclusive and unbiased reporting regarding rural sections of India.
  • Suggesting programmes and actions to enable them to express and develop their culture, language, religion, traditions and customs.
  • Helping to ensure that people belonging to rural areas have access to information relating to public policies and decisions that affect them.
  • Preparing and disseminating information materials regarding minority issues, including in minority languages.
  • Working towards ensuring that rural sections are benefitted equitably from development and economic progress.
  • Promoting positive measures to increase access for persons belonging to minority groups to educational opportunities and jobs.
